Vineyard Group Launches Operation, Announces Service Team

The Vineyard Group, LLC, of Jamestown and Olean, a multifaceted consulting and business advisory firm has launched its operation with the selection of its initial service team, according to Thomas P. Benson, CPA, of Jamestown, Managing Director of the Group. The new firm is an affiliate of Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, (BWB), PC, the area’s largest regional certified public accounting firm.
Joining Mr. Benson are: Jack Whipple, CPA, and Certified Valuation Analyst of Olean; Norma Lombardo, CPA and Certified Valuation Analyst of Lakewood; Scott Reed, CPA and Certified Fraud Deterrence Analyst of Allegany; and Mike Staley, CPA and Certified Fraud Examiner of Olean. In addition, Mr. Benson is a Certified Forensic Financial Analyst.
Specialized services offered by the Vineyard Group team include an extensive array of management advisory services, ownership transition services including business valuations, mergers, acquisitions and sales, litigation support services including damage claim calculations, expert testimony, and mediation and settlement structuring, fraud deterrence and investigation and emerging business services including business planning and financing.

Mr. Benson was previously with BWB from 1982 through 1994 serving as President and Managing Partner of the firm’s Jamestown office at 100 East Fifth Street.
